Online Lessons

Award winner brass teacher Grant Golding is now offering tuition to players of all ages and levels online.
For the last 5 years Grant has been involved with Dumfries and Galloway's very successful Video conferencing music tuition project and has been a Brass tutor for 10 years.

Whether its once a fortnight tuition or a one off masterclass Grant will be available to teach pupils from around the globe using the free software Skype, all you need is a webcam and mic and the software.

Grant will also be running 50 minute hands on sessions specifically for trumpet/cornet players which will be aimed at each players individual needs.

Lesson costs are currently £15 for 25 minutes or £30 for the 50 minute masterclass.

All under 17 year old pupils need to get a parent/guardian to email for a contract form and appear on cam at the start of the session to verify their signature/payment.

FAQ

Does video teaching actually work? The project that I have been involved in has had International coverage here is a link to a video clip discussing the video work and teaching -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf2DhHhMOE0

How do I pay for lessons? Paypal.
What kind of things do you cover in the masterclass? The masterclass is geared around what your personal goals are - that can be from us working out a tailored and realisitc practice routine to technical issues like breathing, production or high register.
Do I loose out because you won`t be in the room teaching me? We have to address issues a slightly different way, I have taught beginners to advanced students 1 day a week via video link for 5 years and I just see it as an advantage to get tuition where it normal wouldn't be available or accessible.
